Olga Palladino

Olga took her first yoga class in 2001 and was immediately intrigued by it. Initially, she was very excited to “get” chaturanga arms and the beautiful physique that comes along with practicing yoga. However, what she had come to receive from her practice has far exceeded those expectations. After the occurrence of a life altering experience, Olga knew she had to make some major changes in her life in order to create balance and stability. Thus, early in 2003 she began practicing at different studios around the city and fell in love with the asana, pranayama, meditation and chanting that she was introduced to.

In 2007, when Olga had her first child she knew she was meant to be a mother. Olga worked in a couple of different fields in her professional life but never really felt fulfilled. She had been searching for a career where she could be of love and service to others, while also incorporating the mind and body. After a few months, Olga realized that teaching yoga was something that she wanted to pursue.

In 2008, Olga walked into Sankalpah and immediately fell in love with the vinyasa method used here and decided to make it her place of practice. Olga enrolled in the 2008-09 Teacher Training Program and had a beautiful experience. Olga is truly grateful to Jude and Isaac for their knowledge, guidance and love. She also feels truly blessed for the constant love and support she receives from her family. Olga looks forward to teaching and learning from all of you, one day at a time.
