Karen Lopienski
After numerous running injuries, Karen took her first yoga class. Thinking it would be a good stretch, she was astounded by the physical challenge and instantly got hooked. Ten years later, her practice has become less about the physical challenge, and more about how the asanas can help us maintain equanimity, balance and focus on and off the mat.
Karen completed the Sankalpah Yoga Intensive in June of 2008. Her classes combine her light-hearted style with a challenging vinyasa flow. She is grateful to have found yoga and all she has learned from her teachers throughout the years.
