Cicelee Chappelle
After years of dancing, Cicelee took her first yoga class at the suggestion of a friend who thought she would enjoy it because of its similarities to dance. She loved the attention to the body, mind, and spirit, and the connecting of all her “parts” drew her deeper into yoga. Her personal practice became a moving meditation, and connecting her breath to her movement was purifying and cathartic. She believes that poses can be used to get into the body in order to reach and live from the inner world, rather than trying to get the body into poses. Cicelee’s goal is to meet students where they are, giving them the space, guidance and encouragement to be authentic and move beyond self-imposed limitations, and inspiring them to push their edges further. She hopes that students walk away from her class more at peace, more trusting of life, and more present in the now moment.
Cicelee thanks Jude, Isaac and Mary Dana for deepening her love and respect for yoga, as well as her family, friends and mentors who have walked with her and guided her along her journey of life.
